Welcome to Eastholme Surgery Online

Eastholme Surgery

Eastholme is a relatively small family practice with 3 GPs.  There has been a medical practice on this site for nearly 100 years. We aim to provide high quality, accessible patient-centred care for all age groups.

The practice has been establised for over 35 years.  Dr Joanne Herd has been at Eastholme since 1996.  Dr Catherine Kerins joined the team in September 2009.

We are delighted to welcome Dr Benjamin Duncan to the team from October 2014.

The NHS GMS contract requires all patients to have an allocated GP at the practice.  To check who is your allocated GP please contact the surgery. However you are able to see any GP you choose.

Since the new GP contract was brought in we have consistently scored extremely highly on the quality targets and in 2014-15 scored 100%. We are involved in undergraduate training, but aim to spend as much time as possible in direct patient care.

We have now relocated to refurbished premises on the site of Heaton Moor Medical Centre.  Whilst sharing the same premises our practice teams will remain independant.  Our contact details have not changed.

Please see our Statement of Purpose under Policies

We actively encourage and listen to your feedback to help us improve our services.  Please see our latest Patient Participation Group Report.
